  • Plastic Mold Big Bar #30159753
  • Small artificial flower head or similar

TOOLS

  • Glass Microwaveable bowl (Pyrex measuring cup)
  • Butter Knife to cut soap block
  • Microwave Oven
  • Wooden chopstick or similar
  • Paper Towels

DIRECTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take the flower head and rinse with water, set aside.
  2. Using the butter knife cut a slice of the soap block, about 1/2 in. thick. Cut this piece into smaller cubes. Place in the glass microwaveable bowl. Cover the bowl with a paper towel and place in the microwave oven. Follow the soap manufacturer’s directions to melt the soap.
  3. When the soap has melted, remove from the microwave oven and stir with the wooden chopstick to make sure it is completely melted.
  4. Place the mold on a clean flat surface. Pour melted soap into the mold about 1/4 high.
  5. Add in the flower, facing the top of the flower downward into the mold. Add more melted soap until you reach the top of the mold. You may have to use the chopstick to hold down the flower down until it starts to set.
  6. You can place the mold in the freezer for a few minutes to help harden it faster.
  7. Take the mold and flip it over to remove the soap. Clean up the edges by scraping off with the knife.
