MATERIALS

SUPPLIES

  • 4.25 in.  x 5.5 in. Card Base - Black 
  • 4 in.  x 5.25 in. Washi Paper for card background
  • 3 qty - 3 in. x 3 in. Origami Paper – Black #30178262 
  • Gold Crochet Thread or thin cording
  • 1/4 in. Meriken Double Stick Tape #30013284
  • Pop Up Dots – Mini #30008289
  • Optional: 1 qty. – 2 in. x 2 in. Origami Paper – gold #77301366

TOOLS

  • Sharp Scissors

DIRECTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS 

1.  Center and tape the washi paper to the front of the card.

2, Take the 3 in. x 3 in. black origami papers and accordion-fold them to make the fans. Take each one and wrap some cording around the center and spread out the folds into the fan shape on the top. Knot the cording securely and cut off the remaining origami paper, leaving just a 1/2 in. stem for the fan handle. Trim cording.

3. Place fans across the card and adhere with pop up glue dots or double stick tape.

Optional: Take the gold origami paper and fold into a crane. Place the crane onto one of the fans and adhere securely.
